BUSINESS CASE
Guides users through creation of a business case to justify the project. Value proposition calculations including Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return. Also assists users to develop the CHESS benefit calculations.
Value Proposition
The summary of value propositions calculations are shown at the top of the business case. The values are calculated based on the details of the business case further below.
Cost / Benefit Details
Add the project costs and benefits. Values will be used in the value proposition summary calculations at the top of the business case.
CHESS Benefit Details
Add rows to define HSE risks and select from the matrix to calculate the CHESS values. These values are also added to the Value Proposition table at the top. The coloured matrices can be configured for your site in the administration console of the application.
Long Lead Items
Requests for long lead items can be included in the business case.
Step Approval
If you are an authorised user with access to this project, you can approve or reject the Business Case step by selecting from the status drop down. A comment can be added to the response. Click the save icon at the top of the page to finalise.
Supporting documents
Supporting documents can be included by clicking the "+" icon and browse using the pop up dialog. Existing uploaded documents are visible in the list and can be viewed or deleted by selecting a document and clicking the appropriate icon.
